Join us this January for the next in-person workshop in Berkeley, CA! This workshop will cover safe handling techniques, arousal reduction strategies for both single dog sessions and in a playgroup setting. Practice with experienced coaches to provide constructive feedback and guidance to improve your skills and confidence. This workshop will also focus on behavior modification. Get some experience observing and measuring behavior as well as designing interventions for shelter animals. This opportunity is open to all! Come network with other shelter professionals and volunteers during this 4-day event. Not only will we work on improving physical handling skills but also your accuracy and speed when reading dog body language in real time. This workshop will give you a taste of our methods and best practice for running dog introductions and playgroups in a shelter setting. Come get nerdy with us, we look forward to seeing you there!
