Travel Logistics for In-Person Workshops

These hotel options were specifically curated with ease of getting to and from Berkeley Animal Care Services where the workshop will be held. There are plenty of other hotel, AirBnb, and Vrbo rental options that we did not include in the list. Two (Graduate and SenS) are located in downtown Berkeley if you are interested in experiencing this historic civil rights era college town while others are located closer to the Bay. Prices were estimated based on the dates of the workshop and single bed rooms. The weather in this area during January is typically chilly between 40-65 degrees and mornings are usually foggy and damp. 

The two closest airports are Oakland International Airport (OAK) which is about 20min from the shelter; depending on traffic. The other is San Francisco International Airport (SFO) which is about 45min from the shelter; depending on traffic. BART is easy to take from SFO into either Oakland or Berkeley.
