Volunteers who participate in animal care, enrichment, and out-of-kennel activities
CORE consists of 30+ short, online modules that are designed to fit into your busy workday at the shelter. After key modules, you’ll practice applying your skills and submit written and video assessments. Rather than simply clicking through multiple-choice quizzes, learners will think practically about each topic and receive individualized coaching and feedback on their work from our EDUCATION TEAM.
Thinking about how you will submit written assignments and video yourself for the course? We’re here to help! Participants can ask about our recommendations for a team-based learning approach, or drop-in to our Zoom office hours to ask for help, discuss the content, and get to know our EDUCATION TEAM.
CORE is an asynchronous, online learning program. You will have 6 months to complete the program. Regular access to a computer and high-speed wifi is recommended to view the module content and upload your assignments.
